I am a great believer in a level playing field when it comes to any competition or sport. Surely there is no fun or satisfaction in winning a race if you have had a head start? The same rule should surely  apply to political elections. I am chagrined to read that many postal votes are being collected by the Labour Party. This ploy is surely giving an unfair advantage to the Candidate who may have already won purely on postal votes before the actual election date.. A voter who hands his sealed vote to a Labour Candidate is hardly likely to vote for another political Party. That voter will have been psychologically coerced into voting for the Candidate collecting their vote. Where is the pride and satisfaction for the winning Candidate  in this?? My daughter took part in an election in 2012 and not one postal vote was collected by us. We lost but at least we had our self respect intact. I hope that voters will give the minority political Parties a chance in this coming election as they are doing things the hard and honest way.
