Sir
with an election looming there has been a lot of number crunching going on.
This Government is pleased with its efforts to date in reducing the deficit.
Therefore it plans on further spending cuts if re- elected.
In principle I am pleased at this plan as I do not wish for my children to inherit our deficit.
However
I do not feel the lower echelons of society to should bear the burden
of spending cuts and agree with the Green Party that this is unfair. I
like their wealth tax proposal very much indeed.
The
Labour Party spokeswoman, Rachel Reeves has stated that she will go
even further in the austerity cuts to welfare than the Tories.
Labour said that it will raid pensions to pay for University fees.
Meanwhile
the greedy SNP are already demanding a mere £180 billion more spending
money from Britain to keep them in the luxury they are accustomed to.
This colossal sum dwarfs the modest coalition spending cuts of £12
billion .
The Scottish already get £1300 extra per person per year under the Barnett formula, as well as free University tuition.
