appears that the decarbonisation amendment to Labour`s Energy bill was
narrowly defeated rather than passed in the House of Lords.He stated that consumers would be paying a 41%green levy if it was passed.
Lib Dem and Tory peers votes have thus helped consumers while most Labour peers voted in favour of the decarbonisation amendment which would have resulted in huge rises in electricity and gas..
